Mir ging es nicht um Warnke, der interessiert mich nicht, sondern um ROS als evtl. möglichen Wirkmechanismus. Die Kritiker behaupten seit Jahren, dass eine Schädigung bewiesen sei.

Im englischen Wikipedia-Artikel zu ROS steht folgendes:
"ROS form as a natural byproduct of the normal metabolism of oxygen and have important roles in cell signaling. However, during times of environmental stress (e.g. UV or heat exposure) ROS levels can increase dramatically, which can result in significant damage to cell structures. This cumulates into a situation known as oxidative stress. ROS are also generated by exogenous sources such as ionizing radiation."

Was auffällt ist, dass als Stressfaktoren UV, und Hitze genannt sind, nicht jedoch Mikrowellenstrahlung oder ELF. Der Grund dürfte sein, dass erhebliche Energie gebraucht wird, um vom Grundzustand (Triplettzustand) in den Singlettzustand des Sauerstoffs zu kommen. Wikipedia sagt:
"The energy difference between ground state and singlet oxygen is 94.3 kJ/mol and corresponds to a transition in the near-infrared at ~1270 nm."

Hier noch ein interessanter Vergleich zwischen Warnke und Wikipedia:
Warnke:
"Man muss nun wissen, dass eine schnelle Rekombination der Radikalpaare in ungefährliche Produkte gewöhnlich nur über den Singulett-Zustand funktioniert."

Wikipedia:
"Singlet oxygen... is many times more reactive than triplet oxygen, and extremely hazardous to organic matter. It is used for the extermination of heavy infestations of persistent pests in houses and buildings."
