Und was ist mit der Wärmeentwicklung eines Notebooks ?
Jeder, der schon einmal ein paar Minuten ein Notebook auf dem Schoß betrieben hat, weiß was ich meine...

Nachtrag...habe gerade gesehen, daß Spatenpauli hier bereits die gleiche Überlegung hatte.

"Men who are concerned about their fertility should not be unduly worried about using laptops with Wi-Fi enabled, although we know from other studies that the bottom of laptops can become incredibly hot and inadvertent testicular heating is a risk factor for poor sperm quality. There are many reasons to try and use a laptop on a table where possible, and this may in itself ameliorate any theoretical concerns about Wi-Fi."

sagt Dr. Allan Pacey in dem Bericht, auf den das WIK-Team am Ende des Beitrages verwies.

Außerdem wird dort auch gut erklärt, warum solche Studien mit Vorsicht zu genießen sind.

"Ejaculated sperm are particularly sensitive to many factors because outside the body they don't have the protection of the other cells, tissues and fluids in which they are stored before ejaculation. We need large epidemiological studies to determine a link, and to my knowledge these have not yet been performed."

Es handelt sich bei der Studie um eine Petrischale mit Spermien, die direkt in die Nähe des Laptops gestellt wurde und deshalb mMn nur bedingt mit dem realen Szenario im täglichen Leben und Gebrauch eines Laptops gleichgesetzt werden kann.
