Die ganzen Fragestellung erübrigt sich natürlich, wenn Vibrationen keinen Einfluß auf das Zellwachstum ausüben.

Zellen reagieren auf mechanische Reize, auch Vibrationen, was mich als Biologen nicht überrascht. Beispiele:

Low-amplitude high frequency vibration down-regulates myostatin and atrogin-1 expression, two components of the atrophy pathway in muscle cells. (30 Hz)

Aus dem Abstract: We concluded that vibration treatment at 30 Hz is effective in suppressing the atrophy pathway both in vivo and in vitro and enhances fusion of satellite muscle cells.

Nano-vibration effect on cell adhesion and its shape. (1 kHz)

Aus dem Abstract: Furthermore, the preliminary cDNA microarray experiments showed that expression of genes which regulate cytoskeleton were changed by vibration stimulation. These results suggest that vibration could affect cell adhesion and the determination cell shape.

Effects of vibration on differentiation of cultured PC12 cells. (10 kHz)

Aus dem Abstract: When PC12 cells exposed to nerve growth factor were subjected to vibration at 10 kHz, differentiation and elongation of their neurites were promoted earlier in the culture. Vibration promoted differentiation of PC12 cells.
