Yes, perhaps. However, I have another explanation for you, Dariusz. In my observation, such mistakes, committed by laymen (and disinformers), are always upgrades and never downgrades. Why? Because the impostors want to endow people they consider useful with extra authority and thus more credibility. Those who know nothing must believe everything. And those who can appeal to (the greatest possible) authorities intimidate their opponents and no longer need factual arguments.
